All interested artists are cordially invited to attend a charrette to discuss the Bronzeville Artist Lofts development. The charrette will be held at the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, located at 78 East Washington (5th floor), on Thursday, February 23 from 6 - 7 pm.Revere Properties Development has been selected by Mercy Portfolio Services for the redevelopment of the property at 436-42 East 47th Street, located across the street from the Harold Washington Cultural Center. The project is one of the first affordable artist live-work spaces on Chicago's south side. The development is targeted for completion in the summer of 2013. As part of our commitment to gaining a better understanding of artists' needs, building amenities requirements for an artist live/work space, and potential programming ideas, we would very much like your participation.
To RSVP, please email bronzeville_artist_lofts@mbmdconsultants.com by Tuesday, February 21 with your full name and number of guests attending. If you have any additional questions, please contact Julia Perkins, MBMD Strategic Consultants at 773-288-2988. |
